SSC CHSL 2016 Admit Cards: Download from January 7

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in a recent notification has mentioned that the candidates appearing for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2016 examinations can download the admit card from January 7 to February 8 by logging on to the official website, ssc-cr.org

According to reports, last year the examination was conducted on November 1 and 15, and December 6 and 22. Over 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination held at various centres across the nation.

How to download?

In order to download the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

Log on to the official website, ssc-cr.org
Enter the registration number and date of birth

If any candidate does not have the registration id, enter your name and date of birth

Click to submit

Admit cards will be displayed
All the candidates are advised to take printout out of the same for future reference

Eligibility criteria:

All the candidates interested in applying need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board/university.
All candidates who are called for appearing at the Typing Test/Skill Test will be required to produce the relevant certificate in original such as mark sheets, provisional certificate, etc as a proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before January 1, 2017.

Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant PB -1(Rs 5200-20200) Grade Pay 2400 (pre-revised)

Data Entry Operator: Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 2400 (pre-revised)

Data Entry Operator: Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)

Lower Division Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)

Court Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)

Important dates:

Dates for downloading admit card: January 7 to February 8, 2017.

SSC is an organisation that works under the government of India to hire staff for the several posts in various ministries and departments of the government and in subordinate groups. The commission works under the central government that conducts recruitment of Group B non-gazetted and Group C non-technical vacancies in the country.
