Eligibility Criteria for VCRC Technician, Technical Assistant & Other posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience
Technical Assistant (Zoology) – Bachelor Degree in Zoology and Certificate/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or one year experience in the laboratory/field in the lower scale in Govt. Department/Institution.
Technical Assistant (Microbiology) – Bachelor Degree in Microbiology and Certificate/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or one year experience in microbiology/molecular biology/bio-chemistry/toxicology/biotechnology in the lower scale in Govt. Department/Institution.
Technical Assistant (Sociology) – Bachelor Degree in Sociology and Diploma/Certificate course in Sociology or one year experience in community based surveys and quantitative & qualitative data collection in the lower scale in the Govt. Department/Institution.
Technician ‘C’ – 12th passed with biological science subject or equivalent with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/Sanitation/Public Health Science from Govt. recognized Organizations/Institutes/Medical Colleges, and one year experience in Medical Laboratory Technology/Public Health/Sanitation in a recognized Institute.
Stenographer – Matriculation passed or its equivalent examination, 80 w.p.m. speed in English shorthand, 45 w.p.m. in English typewriting on manual typewriter or typing speed of 45 words per minute on computer (45 words per minute correspond to 13500 key depressions for each word).
Technician ‘A’ (Engineering Support) (Instrument Mechanic) – Matriculation passed or equivalent with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and successful completion of All India Trade Test (ATS) in Instrument Mechanic from Govt. recognized Board or Institute.
Technician ‘A’ (Engineering Support) (Information Technology) – Matriculation passed or equivalent with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and successful completion of All India Trade Test (ATS) in Information Technology from Govt. recognized Board or Institute.
Technician ‘A’ (Engineering Support) (Electrician) – Matriculation passed or equivalent with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and successful completion of All India Trade Test (ATS) in Electrical from Govt. recognized Board or Institute.

Technician ‘A’ (Engineering Support) (Refrigeration) – Matriculation passed or equivalent with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and successful completion of All India Trade Test (ATS) in Refrigeration from Govt. recognized Board or Institute.
Technician ‘A’ – Matriculation passed or equivalent with certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology or one year laboratory/field/clinical experience of working in a Govt. Laboratory/Govt. Recognized Institution.
Lower Division Clerk – 12th passed or equivalent qualification, A typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter or a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Multi-Tasking Staff – Matriculation passed or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit
