New Delhi: There is good news for those waiting for a government job.The Indian Railways has 10,000 vacancies. The best part is that there can be no partiality or a scam in the appointments
The Ministry of Railways has directed all the Railway Recruitment Boards to make Aadhar mandatory for all new appointments. That is, anybody applying will have to mention the Aadhar number on the application forms.
The Indian Railways has urged youngsters to apply for Aadhar if they don't have one. The applicants will have the option of either mention 12-digit Aadhar number or the 28-digit Aadhar application number on the forms.
For now, vacancies exist for Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians in 17 regions.
